Dr. Chu is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Chu completed his undergraduate degree and medical school training in Boston, Massachusetts at Boston University. He graduated from the Combined Six Year Bachelor of Arts and Medical Degree program with academic honors including summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He earned a United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship in medical school. Upon graduating from Boston University Medical School, he completed his specialty training in Atlanta, Georgia at Emory University. After residency, he participated in support of Desert Storm and was honorably discharged after completion of active duty service in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Chu is married and has two sons.
